Bio:
About the artist:
Eva Grinvalde (2005) is a Hartlepool based artist.
Originally from Latvia, her work focuses on capturing shadows on canvass. Her main interest is nature and linking the work she does now to her past memories of living in her home country.
She mainly uses acrylic paint to create her paintings since she works in thin layers of paint to build the signature "glowing" effect for her paintings.
Even though her own work mainly focuses on painting she draws inspiration from many photographers like, Hiroshi Watanabe and Jessica Backhaus.
